August 22, 2025 — The Department of National Defence must decide whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this decision, the Department of National Defence is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment. The Proposed Project
The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing a project. The proposed project is to build a concrete pad for the purpose of creating an outdoor workout area to be used by Royal Military College (RMC) students. The size of the concrete pad will be 80 feet x 50 feet. The project construction is projected to last up to 2 weeks with multi-year usage and minimal maintenance of the concrete pad required. Sea cans will be placed on the pad for storage of gym equipment.
