Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL)  intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the Fuel Storage Tank Removal project, at the Chalk River Laboratories (CRL) site, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. The CRL site is owned by Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL), an Authority under the Impact Assessment Act while  Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, pursuant to a long-term contractual arrangement, is responsible for the management and operations of AECL's sites, including the CRL site.  To help inform their determination, AECL would like to invite comments from the public. Written comments must be submitted prior July 9 2025.
