Micmac Avenue Sewer Replacement – Public Comments Invited
April 14, 2025 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Micmac Avenue Sewer Replacement project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project
The project will involve the replacement of sanitary sewer infrastructure along Micmac Avenue. Activities will include the installation of approximately 1130m2 of 300mm diameter PVC sanitary sewer pipe to replace the existing system; construction of 21 new manholes to support the new infrastructure; connection into residential properties and the construction of a storm sewer culvert and installation of a gabion structure to manage surface water flow and erosion control.
