The Proposed Project
Ralmax Properties Limited is proposing to remove an existing riprap wall along a portion of shoreline located at 525 Bay Street in Victoria, B.C. Riprap along the shoreline will be removed using an excavator and will enable the installation of a sheet pile wall. Transport Canada (TC) is reviewing for approval under the Public Ports and Public Port Facilities Regulations (PPPPFR), as the proposed removal of riprap falls partially within lands administered by Transport Canada. The proposed project site is in Rock Bay, a historically industrialized area.
