Zagime Anishinabek New Subdivision Project - Public Comments invited

February 18, 2025 - Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Zagime Anishinabek New Subdivision Project, to be located on Sakimay IR No.74, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

Proposed Project

The proposed project is to construct a new housing subdivision on the available land northwest of the main core area of the community in SW 20-18-006 W2M.  The new subdivision will include sewer mains, water mains, hydrants, service connections, natural gas, primary power, street lights, roadway construction, culverts and approaches, erosion control and lot preparation.
