February 05, 2025 – Indian Oil and Gas Canada – IOGC (the Authority) must determine whether the Proposed Pipeline from 11-06-043-09W5M to 03-02-043-10W5M located in Sunchild Reserve is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, IOGC is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

Assessment Description - The Proposed Project

The proposed pipeline by TAQA North Ltd  is being constructed from 11-06-043-09W5M to 03-02-043-10W5M  in Sunchild Reserve to provide a tie-in for two new wells being added to an existing wellsite via an expansion . Resource to be transported in the pipeline and associated infrastructure will be sweet gas. Footprint for this project will be 5.36 ha with a width of 15 m and length of 3,748m.
