The Proposed Project

Suffield Industry Range Control Ltd. (SIRC) is proposing to complete the 2025 annual maintenance of all repairs, maintenance or replacement at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Suffield. Every year, SIRC carries out several road projects to ensure the mobility and health and safety of CFB Suffield personnel. This roadwork aims to address road grooves, weakening and collapses and/or other ditch work identified during inspections (contour, drainage channels, slope, etc.). including, but not limited to, repairs/replacements of culverts, standard road repairs (grading, gravel / soil application as required etc.), and hydrovacing Texas gates. These are to address rutting, washouts, damages to culverts, Texas gate cleanouts as well as other works deemed to impact road worthiness and safety.
