Construction of a plant – Public Comments Invited
October 31, 2024 – The Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) and Farm Credit Canada (FCC) must determine whether the proposed construction of a plant, located at 2950 North, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this determination, BDC and FCC are inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project
Bridor Inc. is requesting financing from BDC and FCC for the first phase of construction of a new plant at 2473 West 2950 North, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. The site is approximately 118,330 m2 in size and is currently unimproved vacant land in a newly developed industrial zone close to Salt Lake City airport. The land is ready to build. The infrastructures are already present, the only modification that will be required is a temporary access road for the fire department.
The total footprint of the plant will be approximately 28,800 m2 for the first phase, and an additional 8,361 m2 for the second phase. It will be used for the manufacturing of bakery products.
