Notice of Time Limit Suspension with Reasons

Ottawa — June 29, 2023 — On June 23, 2023, the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (the Agency) suspended the 180-day time limit for the Planning Phase under the Impact Assessment Act for the De Havilland Field Project (the project) proposed by 2150038 Alberta Inc. (the proponent).

The Agency has taken this action in consideration of a written request from the proponent that the time limit be suspended in order that it may have sufficient time to provide the Agency with a notice that sets out:

    • how it intends to address the issues referred to in the Summary of Issues, provided to the proponent on June 16, 2023; and
    • a Detailed Project Description that includes the information prescribed by the Information and Management of Time Limits Regulations.

When the proponent has provided the Agency with a response to the Summary of Issues and a detailed description of the project, the Agency will post a notice that the prescribed activity is completed and the 180-day time limit will resume.
