Notice of Determination

Québec – June 21, 2023 – Indigenous Services Canada has determined that the proposed project of construction of a new pediatric center "Mamonitokiwan center"– Opitciwan is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

This determination was based on the following factors :

• Feasible mitigation measures for construction-related impacts.

Mitigation measures for this determination took into consideration:

• Soil protection
• Air protection
• Public well-being and safety
