Québec – May 26, 2023 – Indigenous Services Canada has determined that the proposed Refurbishment of Waratinack Street and relocation of the pumping station is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

This determination was based on a consideration of the following factors:

• technically and economically feasible mitigation measures.

• Protection of migratory birds
• Surface water protection
• Fish Habitat Protection
• Wetland
• Soil protection
• Air protection
• Well-being and safety of the population
• Wildlife protection
