RW-4851 Authorization to Construct and Operate a Right of Way for a natural gas pipeline – Public Comments Invited

January 24, 2023 – Indian Oil and Gas Canada must determine whether the proposed RW-4851 Authorization to Construct and Operate a Right of Way for a natural gas pipeline, located in Frog Lake First Nation reserve lands is likely to cause potential adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Indian Oil and Gas Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

A 15 m wide, 498.3 m long right of way easement will provide for the construction and operation of a  pipeline that will transport natural gas.  Construction of the pipeline and reclamation of the right of way will be completed within the first year of the project.  Following decommissioning of the pipeline, the right of way will be surrendered. The proponent is West Lake Energy Corp.
