Notice of determination for the Zagime Anishinabek School

September 26, 2022 - Indigenous Services Canada has determined that the proposed Zagime Anishinabek School is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

The determination was based on a consideration of the following factors:

-the Zagime Anishinabek School will benefits members of Zagime Anishinabek First Nation
-no public comments were received about the project
-the school will be connected to existing water, sewer, gas and power services
-all construction waste will be deposed of off-reserve at a regional landfill or hazardous waste disposal facility

Indigenous Services Canada is satisfied that the carrying out of the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
