Notice of Time Limit Extension

Ottawa — August 23, 2022 — The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (the Agency) granted an extension to the three-year time limit for Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure (the proponent) to provide the required information or studies described in the Final Environmental Impact Statement Guidelines for the environmental assessment of the Project 6 – All-Season Road Linking Manto Sipi Cree Nation, Bunibonibee Cree Nation, and God's Lake First Nation.

The Agency has taken this action further to a written request from the proponent that the time limit be extended by four years. The reasons for the Agency's determination are provided in its response to the proponent.

The new deadline for the proponent to provide the required information or studies described in the Final Environmental Impact Statement Guidelines is August 28, 2026.
