4V-19-17-6 Tie-in Project– Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Suffield

July 22, 2022 — The Department of National Defence must decide whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this decision, the Department of National Defence is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project

IPC Canada Ltd. is proposing to install a pipeline to 4V-19-17-6 within CFB Suffield, approximately 55 kilometers from Medicine Hat, Alberta. 470 meters of new right-of-way (ROW) with a width of 15 meters will be required for the installation of the pipeline. The ROW will be reclaimed once construction is complete and surrendered upon exhaustion of the productive life of the associated well.
