The proposed amendment

Vancouver Fraser Port Authority Infrastructure Delivery is proposing to extend the expiry date of their existing Project Permit No. 2011-125: South Shore Corridor Project from March 31, 2022 to March 31, 2023.

The approved project consists of an elevated roadway and pedestrian overpass, as well as related road and utility relocations, signage, and landscaping works. The only components of work that remain include utility relocations, paving, and related finishes such as line painting. The project has experienced delays for several reasons, including inclement weather, and is currently anticipated to be complete in fall 2022.
