Xplornet Inc. Radiocommunication Antenna Addition on Ebb and Flow First Nation Reserve No. 280 - Public Comments Invited

2022-01-15 – Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada must determine whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

Written comments must be submitted by February 15, 2022 to the contact identified on the project page.

The Proposed Project

Xplornet Inc. is proposing the addition of a parabolic radiocommunication antenna on top of an existing 45m tower located on the Ebb and Flow First Nation Reserve No. 280. The antenna will be installed to improve network access of high-speed internet on behalf of First Communications Group Inc. In the future, the existing tower may have other antennas and other radiocommunication equipment added or replaced.
