CCI Wireless o/a Corridor Communications Inc. Radiocommunication Antenna Addition on the Stony No. 142-143-144 Reserve, Morley, AB - Public Comments Invited

2021-12-17 – Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada must determine whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

CCI Wireless o/a Corridor Communications Inc. is proposing the installation of new antennas on existing radiocommunication towers, for a microwave radio communication link from Morley, AB 133X to -Morley, AB Eagle Hill Road. Both Morley, AB towers are located on the Stony No. 142-143-144 Reserve, and the installation will include a 0.6m diameter microwave antenna mounted at the top of existing 33.5m and 36.5m radiocommunication towers. This system will carry  high capacity Ethernet network traffic between the two points using one channel in the 80GHz band.   The existing towers may undergo other periodic antenna additions or replacements, as required for any radiocommunication service.
