Eskasoni 10 unit housing project  – Public Comments Invited

November 30, 2021 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Eskasoni 10 unit housing project, located in Eskasoni First Nation, NS, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project

The proposed project will develop 10 lots over approximately 1.4 hectares as part of a new subdivision. The lands will be cleared to prepare the site. Site preparation activities include: installation of water, sewer, power lines and communication infrastructure.
