The Proposed Project

In June of 2018, First Nations Technical Services Advisory Group (TSAG) completed a Disaster Recovery Road Project Inspection, following the state of emergency that was declared by the Nation due to poor road conditions. Spring melt and summer rainfall created impassable conditions from road overtopping. The roads affected by this event, primarily roads within Reserve 166A, composed the scope of the inspection that TSAG completed. Four (4) culvert locations remain to be addressed. A total of twelve (12) larger culverts are proposed within the four (4) crossing locations to increase flow capacity during flood events and are proposing to include mandatory improvements by raising the profile of the road from between 0.3m and 2m
