Pic River Roads Rehabilitation – Public Comments Invited
March 14, 2021– Infrastructure Canada and Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Pic River Roads Rehabilitation project, located within the Ojibways of the Pic River First Nation reserve, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Infrastructure Canada and Indigenous Services Canada intend is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.
All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website (https://iaac-aeic.gc.ca/050/evaluations/Protection?culture=en-CA).

The Proposed Project:
This project will rehabilitate and widen approximately 4 km of Access Road and 1.7 km of Pic River Road including repavement, drainage and culvert replacement, traffic calming devices, improved sidewalks/walking trails along the road and a bus pull-over.
