Paqtnkek Subdivision – Phase I – Public Comments Invited

July 29, 2021 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Paqtnkek Subdivision – Phase I project, located in Paqtnkek-Niktuek IR 23, NS is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

Project Summary

Proposed construction of a 11 lot subdivision in Paqtnkek-Niktuek IR 23, NS.

The project area is approximately 3 Ha and will service 11 housing lots. Activities during construction will include clearing, grubbing 300m of road construction, 345m of water main and 240m of gravity sewers to service the 11 lots. A pumping station and force main will be required for wastewater.
