The Proposed Project

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project which involves the construction of a new building of approximately 700 m2 in the area of the Defence Research and Development Canada ( DRDC) Valcartier Experimental Complex. The building will be mainly composed of concrete and will be designed according to explosives safety standards. The project also includes the demolition of two buildings and the surrounding fortifications, as well as the demolition of the concrete wall around one of the buildings.
