The Proposed Project

The Municipality of Bluewater, with support from Fisheries and Oceans Canada's Small Craft Harbours branch, is planning to perform an annual dredge of their harbour located on the shores of Lake Huron at the mouth of the Bayfield River in the village of Bayfield. Approximately 2900 cubic metres will be dredged using a barge excavator and trucks to haul the dredge out of river. The dredge will occur towards the end of May.
