The Proposed Project

The project consists of the reinstatement of Browntown Road. This requires the installation of a culvert and repair of associated approach grades. The construction footprint at Browntown Road is expected to remain within the footprint of the impact area from the past road construction and installation and removal of the original culvert. The crossing will be designed to current standards to accommodate existing hydraulic conditions with minimal impact on aquatic habitats. The crossing design and installation will follow the New Brunswick Watercourse Alteration Technical Guidelines.
