The Proposed Project:

The project will improve stormwater management along Kate Kegwin Street, Wau Goosh Street, O'Gemma Street, Shingwauk Street, and Bayshore Drive in the Beausoleil First Nation in Ontario. The work will involve installing 2,350 metres of storm sewer piping and catch basins; re-ditching approximately 6,450 metres of roadside ditches; replacing approximately 450 metres of driveway culverts and approximately 120 metres of large diameter road crossing culverts; and undertaking a stormwater management study for the community. The project will alleviate flooding and ensure proper drainage during rainfalls and spring thaws while the study will provide the community with a plan for future improvements.
