Fisher River Cree Nation East Road Replacement Project – Public Comments Invited
March 19th, 2021 – Infrastructure Canada must determine whether the proposed Fisher River Cree Nation East Road Replacement Project, located in Fisher River Cree Nation, MB is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this determination, Infrastructure Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice (https://iaac-aeic.gc.ca/050/evaluations/protection?culture=en-CA) on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project
The proposed project involves the rehabilitation of ~3.6 km of road in the Fisher River Cree Nation. The project involves the following work:
- Raising, widening, grading and resurfacing the road;
- Replacing culverts; and
- Cleaning and re-grading the existing drainage ditches along the road.
