Construction of a cargo warehouse - Public comments invited

January 29^th 2021 – Transport Canada must determine whether the proposed construction of a cargo warehouse, located in Kuujjuaq, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Transport Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public [and may be posted online]. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project

The construction project will be located at the Kuujjuaq Airport. The project includes the construction of a cargo warehouse. In addition, a partially open shelter will be attached to the building. Work will start in May 2021 and end in September 2022.
