Loon River First Nation Water Treatment Plant Upgrades Design Construction – Public Comments Invited

December 24, 2020 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Loon River First Nation Water Treatment Plant Upgrades Design Construction located in 56.546, -115.375 is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project

The Loon River First Nation will be upgrading their water treatment plant to improve the quality of produced water and facilitate access of water trucks and vehicles for the operation and maintenance of the facility.
