South Shore Corridor Project – Extension to Expiry Date - Public Comments Invited

July 17, 2020 – As part of its Project and Environmental Review process, the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority must determine whether the proposed South Shore Corridor Project – Extension to Expiry Date, located at Commissioner Street, Vancouver is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination and a decision on whether or not to approve the proposed project, the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project

Vancouver Fraser Port Authority Infrastructure Delivery is proposing to extend the expiry date of their existing Project Permit No. 2011-125-4: South Shore Corridor Project out to March 31, 2022.

The scope of work which remains to be completed under the project includes: Construction of a roadway, as well as related road and utility relocations, signage works, and landscaping along Commissioner Street between Nanaimo Street and the McGill Street Overpass.
