Notice of intent to make a determination

Saddle Lake Cree Nation Road Rehabilitation – Public Comments Invited

June 3rd, 2020 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Saddle Lake Cree Nation Road Rehabilitation project, located on Saddle Lake #125, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project

Saddle Lake Cree Nation is proposing to engineer and rebuild 3 segments of road to provide roads with adequate drainage and stability in order to operate consistently in all seasons. The roads will be rebuilt in their current locations on a wider foundation at a higher grade.
