The Proposed Project:

The Project involves the construction of approximately 5 kilometres of a new by-pass road (approximately 3 kilometres of gravel and 2 kilometres of asphalt overlay) through undisturbed rock and forest. The Project scope will include the construction of an approximately 30 metre span rip-rap stone causeway to cross a wetland area along new road. The construction of the by-pass road will be an alternative travel route for improved safety of residents and improves access to the community. It will also improve road access and will foster economic development for the First Nations.
