The Proposed Project:

The proposed project includes the replacement of existing petroleum infrastructure with new similar infrastructure and expansion of commercial infrastructure.  Petroleum infrastructure to be replaced includes underground storage tanks (UST's), vent and production line and cardlock dispensers.  The existing convenience store will be expanded through demolition of infrastructure and construction of a new wing. The new convenience store is expected to occupy approximately 3000 sq. ft. of additional space which is currently utilized for parking. Construction work will include site grading, parking lot, water/sewer services, construction of gas bar, installation of underground storage tanks and store.

Environmental factors to be considered: surface and groundwater impacts, impacts to land, impacts to flora and fauna, species at risk, migratory birds, impacts to air and noise-sensitive receptors, construction waste disposal and installation and decommission of fuel tanks.
