SUBJECT : James Bay Lithium Mining Project — Statement Analysis Phase Environmental Impact

Ms. Amyot,

I am writing to confirm that following the submission of the additional information on February 18, 2019, the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (the Agency) has determined that the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) of the project is consistent with the EIS Guidelines.

This determination initiates the Federal Environmental Assessment Committee's EIS Analysis phase. In this context, the federal timeline under the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act (2012) is restarted.

Parallel to this analysis phase, the Agency will hold a public consultation on the EIS Summary from March 7 to April 6, 2019. A first request for information will be sent to you later.
