4 March 2020 – The Royal Canadian Mounted Police must determine whether the proposed new police detachment project, located in Estevan is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police are proposing to construct a new police detachment in the Town of Estevan Saskatchewan. The planned footprint is 1200 metres squared. Once completed the detachment will consolidate a number of now leased spaces. Construction will occur on an existing serviced lot in the Town of Estevan Saskatchewan.
