The Proposed Project

The Centerm Expansion Project proposes to extend the timing of in-water works to continue dredging during the period of February 29 to April 5, 2020 and continue infilling associated with habitat offsetting work at Maplewood Flats during the period of February 29 to May 31, 2020. Both of these activities would then fall outside of the Burrard Inlet least-risk timing window for in-water works, which would require amendment of the existing Fisheries Act Authorization for the project (17-HPAC-00374).

The proponent has provided additional information in support of these requests, including commitments to supplemental mitigation measures.
