The Proposed Project

FNX Mining Company Inc. is proposing the construction, operation, decommissioning and abandonment of an underground copper-nickel mine located 35 kilometres southwest of Sudbury, Ontario. Mining would occur for 11 years, with an ore production capacity of 3500 tonnes per day. All ore produced by the Victoria Mine Project would be transported by a third-party company, via truck on an existing public highway, to an existing mill owned by that company.
