Frontier Oil Sands Mine Project – Revised Notice of Hearing

September 21, 2018 — The Joint Review Panel (the Panel) assessing the proposed Frontier Oil Sands Mine Project (the Project) has issued a tentative schedule for presentation of evidence including questioning for the public hearing. The Panel may adjust the schedule as the hearing progresses.

The hearing will commence at 9 am on Tuesday September 25th at MacDonald Island (Miskanaw Ballroom), 1 CA Knight Way, Fort McMurray, Alberta.

All parties must be present to register at the start of the hearing and parties wishing to cross examine witnesses must be present at the time evidence is being presented. Parties must be available to provide their evidence when called upon by the Panel.

The hearing process will be video webcast and audio webcast in order for those who are not able to travel to the hearing sessions to observe the proceedings remotely.

A backgrounder with information on how the public hearing will unfold, information regarding hearing documents as well as all documents related to the public hearing and the Environmental Impact Assesment are available on the Registry website at canada.ca/ceaa-registry, reference number 65505.
