Marine Terminal Project on the North Shore of the Saguenay -
Public Comments Invited

Update — September 21, 2016 — The deadline to submit written comments has been extended from October 15 to October 18, 2016. The Agency is aware that some members of the public may not have been able to access the Registry Internet site due to a technical issue that occurred between September 16 - 18, 2016. The issue is now resolved. As a result, the Agency has extended the deadline for the submission of public comments to October 18, 2016.

September 14, 2016 — Ottawa — Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency

The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (the Agency) is conducting a federal environmental assessment of the proposed Marine Terminal Project on the North Shore of the Saguenay, located in Quebec.

The Agency invites the public to comment on the potential environmental effects of the project and the proposed measures to prevent or mitigate those effects as described in a summary of the proponent's Environmental Impact Statement.

This is the third of four opportunities for the public to comment on this project. All comments received will be considered public.
