Magino Gold Project — Additional Federal Funding Allocated

March 16, 2017 — The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (the Agency) has allocated $42,051.24 in federal funds to the Pic Mobert First Nation to assist its participation in the environmental assessment of the proposed Magino Gold Project, located in Ontario.

The funding was made available through the Agency's Participant Funding Program. It will enable Pic Mobert First Nation to participate in various steps of the environmental assessment, which include reviewing and providing comments on the proponent's Environmental Impact Statement or on its summary, the draft Environmental Assessment Report and the potential environmental assessment conditions.
