Notice of Termination

On December 8, 2014 the proponent, KM LNG, informed Environment Canada that the company was withdrawing its application to dispose of material at sea. With the withdrawal of the application to dispose of materials at sea (the project), there is no requirement for a regulatory approval under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act and therefore Environment Canada would no longer be a Responsible Authority for the purposes of an environmental assessment. As a result the environmental assessment process has been terminated.
