August 25, 2026 — The Department of National Defence must decide whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this decision, the Department of National Defence is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment. The Proposed Project

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. The Canadian Forces Housing Agency (CFHA) is planning the design and construction of new low-rise apartment buildings and row houses to meet housing needs. As such there is a requirement to build new access roads to the new buildings, modifications to the existing site utility services and new services as required. Construction of two (2) 6-plex apartments and 4-plex row houses (6) with associated parking and green space landscaping will be completed.
