The Proposed Project

The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing a project. The majority of work will involve concrete repairs to the vertical and horizontal surfaces of the jetty, caisson, floating dock and piles. This will include the removal of 25mm to 75mm of concrete and repairing with new polymer-modified mortar. Other miscellaneous work will also be included replacement of the timber fenders, replacement of the sacrificial anodes, installing and insulating a new water line and some other minor mechanical/electrical items.
