The Proposed Project

The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing a project. The Canadian Forces Housing Agency (CFHA) is planning a major renovation project (RECAP) involving six housing units located at the following addresses: 23–25 Garceau, 9–11 Beauvais, and 33–35 Beauvais. The project includes excavation work around two of the three buildings to allow for the waterproofing and insulation of the existing foundations, which will be retained. For each housing unit, the wood-frame structure will be completely dismantled. The work will involve the construction of three semi-detached residential buildings, which will be erected on the existing foundations that will remain in place.
