Notice of Time Limit Resumption

Ottawa — September 22, 2023 — On September 13, 2023, Moraine Initiatives Limited (the proponent) provided its response to the Summary of Issues and Detailed Project Description for the Moraine Power Generation Project to the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (the Agency). On September 22, 2023, the Agency accepted these documents as it determined that they contained the information prescribed by the Information and Management of Time Limits Regulations. The proponent thereby completed the activity for which it requested that the time limit be suspended on August 4, 2023, and the 180-day time limit has resumed.

The 180-day time limit is the period of time within which the Agency must provide the proponent with a notice of the commencement of the impact assessment if the Agency decides that an impact assessment of the project is required.
