Upgrades to Underground Piping at Waste Water Treatment Plant – 5th Canadian Division Support Base (CDSB) Gagetown, Oromocto NB

May 8, 2020 — The Department of National Defence must decide whether the proposed project for Upgrades to Underground Piping at Waste Water Treatment Plant – 5CDSB Gagetown is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this decision, the Department of National Defence is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project

The project includes the replacement of existing underground sanitary sewer piping, associated manholes, replacement of an existing 1050mm diameter corrugated steel pipe culvert with a new 1200mm diameter concrete culvert, all necessary environmental protection measures throughout the construction process, and restoration of site upon completion of construction.
